| The Fund |
The Ruhun-Sabaragamu Disaster Relief Fund (RSDRF) is a non-profit organization which was established after the TSUNAMIS struck Sri Lanka and wreaked havoc in the coastal areas of the island nation on the 26th of December, 2004.
Key personnel of the Sabaragamu Province including Clergy, Social Workers, the Business Community and officials of the Law Enforcement Units are engaged in this massive relief effort and reconstruction programme for the victims of the Tsunami disaster. The RSDRF will take all necessary action for its sustainability in order to help prevent any future unexpected disasters. |
The Ruhunu–Sabaragamu Disaster Relief Fund together with the public and private sectors are engaged in bringing relief to the people devastated by the Tsunami.

Among the main tasks of the Ruhunu Sabaragamu Relief Fund are to construct 200 new houses for the victims, help them to solve sanitary and health problems and to educate people in disaster management. |

Our mission is to provide the necessary assistance to people who are the victims of the natural disaster without regard to race, ethnicity, political or religious affiliation or gender within Sri Lanka. |

Construct a new village with all the basic facilities in the Hambantota Tsunami affected area. |
